Our Kimono style pattern simplifies a classic jacket silhouette so it’s not only an easier make but super wearable & works for all body shapes.
The hidden detail? A button on deep lapel allows you to switch up the look, add a contrast fabric or keep it super simple and revere free. Feel free to use press-studs or Velcro if buttonholing isn’t your thing. A tie detail and in-seam front pockets finish the crisp, clean look.

This pattern works best with fabrics that have some structure. We like the more graphic silhoutte that you get with a mid-weight denim or crisp linen-cotton mix. It also works well in a more luxurious fabric, such as a silk velvet or taffeta, for contemporary evening wear.
