Our Kimono-style pattern simplifies a classic jacket silhouette so it’s not only an easier make but super wearable & works for all body shapes.
The hidden detail? A button on deep lapel allows you to switch up the look, add a contrast fabric or keep it super simple and revere free. Feel free to use press-studs or Velcro if buttonholing isn’t your thing. A tie detail and in-seam front pockets finish the crisp, clean look.
Rapture Unstructured Jacket - Paper Pattern
This pattern will work well in any fabric with some structure. We love the more graphic silhoutte that you'll get with a mid-weight denim, or a linen-cotton mix. It also works well in more luxurious fabrics, such as silk velvet or taffeta - both perfect for contemporary evening wear.
We print our patterns to order on 40 gm paper, so place yours before 11 a.m for delivery within 3-5 working days. We will email our easy-to-follow, fully illustrated, instruction booklet to you directly. We like to view these on a tablet as we sew so that we can zoom in on the images to see the detail. Each pattern includes S/M/L sizes. We recommend tracing off the pattern you need (rather than cutting it out) in case you want to change sizes later.
Paper patterns are non returnable.
